hi guys,

back again with another question regarding the air box/intake on the 240z

i currently have a stick 240z orange air box on my car and i wanted to remove it i have no issues removing the air box however

there are several pipes that to to this air box and i couldn’t find anywhere that explains these and if they are necessary

hopefully you guys could shed some light onto this for me

i have added a video below with no sound that shows the three lines i belive 2 are from the floats and one is well i actually don’t know haha

Two are the float chamber vents.
They need to go separately into the air filters.
I put copper tubing inside mine so I could shape them to be just in front of the carbs, just in case.
Up then down is okay, but no low spots in those hoses that would hold gas and not let it vent easily.
The other little one is to the flow guide valve to let air into the gas tank. (Vent)

so regarding this also just a quick thought i have some velocity stacks lying around somewhere would i be able to renove the air box and run these temporarily until my triple webers arrive - and what would i do with these pipes/lines if i were to run velocity stacks?
