yeh 76 thats wat it says on the owners maual im in australia
so if its a lash pad if i put it back on will it run again? or will it of scratched or chunked sumthing cause water is coming out of thr exaust now

At this point, if water is coming out the tailpipe, maybe the best course of action would be to remove the head for a looksee. Check out the valves, pistons, rods, and all water jackets for a crack or missing chunk.

Cool i will cheers this should be fun ive redone a head gasket on a 4 cl nissan blue bird looked almost like a l motor but with a couple cylinders removed
