I am trying to check the 02 senser, the light is suppose to flash 5+ times in 10sec. using a merrior, I can't see any flashing light, an my 82 or 83Z.
What am I doing wronge, or they both bad ?

How to check

Are you looking in the correct place? The ECU is mounted on the left kick panel behind the plastic panel that is held in place with a single philips head screw. The small window in the very bottom of the ECU is provided for checking the operation of the O2 sensor. It is very similar in looks to the small window in the top of a battery and the blinking light can only be seen when looking directly up into the ECU with the mirror. The angle of the mirror is critical in order to see the light flashing.

The car must be at operating tempature and at 2000rpms, when driving at night on a dark road I can see green flashing at my feet, so it might be easier to check in the dark.
