I acquired the car late June 2015 from a friend of mine. When he told me he didn't want anything for it, I was sold. The car was last registered in 1998, and has sat in an open barn since, parked due to a suspected alternator problem. Turned the engine over by hand at home, oil appeared to be in good shape, and installed a fresh set of spark plugs, new points, along with some new gasoline. The engine fired on the first try. Since getting it home I've discovered the only unoriginal components are the dash (out of a '73 240Z) and the engine/trans (out of a '76 280Z.) My goal is to restore it on a shoestring budget (college student woes,) teaching myself various aspects of more serious automotive repair, and enjoy it for the foreseeable future.
