Bought this southern car that ended up here and I got it before the weather did and it sat in my garage for 3 years on jack stands until I got to a point of drivability. Somethings were not perfect at first, but since have only made it better, mostly mechanical, but have added a few features. It never ends, that's all I have to say, it only gets better.
1972 Datsun 240Z (White)
First thing I did was install the header, because basically had no exhaust. 6-2 dual with cherry bombs on each side of trans., then Y into a 3' single outlet into thrush muffler. Added the improved air cleaners with horns. 83 ZX Dizzy, all fresh Tune-up, 3 core radiator, all new hoses for everything. 300zx brake master, with 280 booster. 170,000 mile original engine.......ran good enough on the track.
Basically it was in good shape already, a few flaws for its age, and of course the dashboard was a disaster, but I have a mint original one to soon put in.
VG flares, Rear Spoiler. Louvers, Lambo mirrors.
Alpine tape deck, box speakers behind seat, (small) with some decent sound, then in 5 minutes I can set the boom box in the back and get giggy with it.
So far all new Eibach springs, Tokico shocks and all new bushings. I have a bigger font sway bar to install, when I get the rear.
