zsilkmike I'm in touch with two guys who have 5/spd transmissions. I'm actually waiting to hear back from them as we speak. I'll have to make time to to let it happen. Let me know if you still need a trany.

actually there is a big visual difference between Z and ZX. If a person is going for the old school 240z look, then they will want the 280z

Jakehall252 Hey I have a 1977 280z S30 blk with the 2.8l i6 and a five speed trans out of a 1983 280zx. Im in Colorado and its from Arizona so no rot rust anywhere. No interior and i can send pics if youre interested. It is in good running condition on the rubuilt engine and trans. But dose have a flat spot in the fly wheel so grinds sometimes on start up.
