Greetings from Indiana!

Hi, I am new to the forum. I just purchased a 79 280ZX and am going over it and fixing what I find it needs before driving reliably. I have changed the water pump and fan clutch (bad bearing) and am in the middle of changing the intake/exhaust gasket (slt exh leak at cyl 1)and replacing bad vacuum lines. But now I ran into a bad sensor under the water outlet (see pic.) The wire wouldn't unplug and it cracked or loose in the middle of the sensor. There are two sensors there. One left and one right. the bad one is on the left with arrow indication. I'm not sure what this sensor is and need help. I thought the other one was the coolant temp? but then what is this one? This is the first Datsun I have had in 35 years so I'm a little rusty on this stuff. Just had to buy one though. Thanks, Greg
