Heating: Entire system rebuilt with Nissan parts by dealership – new heater core, heater vent actuators (2), hoses, etc
Engine: Rebuilt/re-manufactured by Nissan using all new parts @ 77,942 miles on 6-22-2000 (due to minor water damage) – including new pistons, rings, valves, main bearings, rod bearings, cam bearings, valve lifters, rocker nuts and swivels, timing chain, cam sprocket and crank gear, new oil pump, and all gaskets and seals required per manufacturer. Precision machine work performed: Engine block cylinder walls were bored and power honed, cylinder head mating surface and block mating surface were machined, engine block was line honed, crankshaft was magna-fluxed, turned, and polished, connecting rods were resized and balanced in sets, camshaft was re-machined, rocker arms were re-machined, valve guides and valve seats were re-machined, etc. Additional parts by Chapman Nissan of New Castle, Delaware – new mass air flow sensor, new idler pulley, new cooling fan, replaced liquid filled engine mounts, new timing belt with tensioners, idler arm, water pump, all hoses & belts upgraded, new Nissan stock injectors, Bosh oxygen sensors, pcv valve. (nearly every part has been replaced)
Transmission; Stock with Red Line Synthetic Manual Transmission Lubricant: MT-90 75W90 GL-4 - gallon, new rubber transmission mounts.
Clutch/Flywheel: F1 Racing STAGE 2 clutch kit featuring: an F1 Racing Stage 2 Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate. Fidanza 11 lbs. lightweight flywheel
Shifter: New short throw Z1 Motorsports with red stitched leather shifter.
Driveshaft: New custom made 11 lb. one piece dynamically balanced drive shaft by Powertrain Industries ($500), versus 31 lb. stock steel two piece drive shaft = increased torque & quicker RPM’s & can handle approx. up to 800 hp.
Rear axle: Stock with Red Line gear oil + additive
Exhaust: New tuned chrome headers with new Random Technology hyper-flow cats, plus newly installed B&B stainless steel 3” exhaust
Brakes: New Nissan calipers painted high heat (1200 degree) satin black -with new ceramic pads, new cross drilled & slotted rotors, new stainless steel upgraded braided lines front & rear, plus new master cylinder, slave cylinder + power brake booster, new emergency brake shoes
Interior: New custom black& grey leather interior to coincide with the factory charcoal interior- Z embroidery on seat backs, plus new center leather arm rest – cost approx. $1000 with installation, new hatch cargo grey interior pieces, black leather with red stitching: (Nissan shift knob, shift boot, e-brake boot), glove box lock, blue LED dash lights, Z1 Titanium Dashboard Gauge Rings, etc.
Audio: Alpine radio with CD player, Audiobahn amplifier A4004T, JL Audio 10” Stealthbox subwoofer, plus a Rockford 350 watt amplifier.
