1984 300zx 50th anniversary

I came across a 1984 300zx 50th anniv turbo automatic car for sale and am wondering what it is worth. The car is pretty clean with low miles, but hasn't been on the road for almost ten years, so it will need some work like tires, battery tune up.

The guy is asking $3,900 for it, good deal?

thanks for your opinions

If the PO is pretty & will sleep with you for 6 months it may be worth the price. The car itself is not worth much if it won't run & drive. Brake hydraulics, electrical problems, engine rebuild are all possibilities.

Anyone can drive a new car.

price is great. only problem is the lack of being driven and the lack of manual gearbox.

Too much.I've seen a near mint condition one with a 5 spd manual that could be driven across country any day . The price on it was $3000 . It is started every couple weeks and needs nothing mechanical done.

50th anniversary of Nissan, not the Z car. The '80 10th ann. 280ZX was the 10th anniversary of the Z car.

Actually, 50th Anniversary of DATSUN, since they weren't calling it Nissan yet.

Re: 1984 300zx 50th anniversary

The 1984 300zx was called a datsun nissan. It was badged with both names. It was the crossover year for the name change on the z cars.

Re: 1984 300zx 50th anniversary

How much are you actually comfortable paying for the car?

Start at 1/2 to 3/4 of the price - in $100 bills and add just short of max price you'll pay.

Then walk away.

If no bites call again in a few days.
