1992 jdm Fairlady Z LSD

Will this fit on a 1991 300ZX NA? For some reason, I don't think it would, but ****...$10 isn't a bad deal for it!

Thanks,
fr0d0

Re: 1992 jdm Fairlady Z LSD

Are you NA or TT?

The TT difs are set for more topend... 3.6 I beleive.
The NA difs are set for low end do to less HP stock... 4.07 I think.

Anyways, you will lose alot of off the line if you stick a TT dif in an NA. Alot of TT owners will stick an NA dif in so that they get more off the line. Trust me, this makes a huge difference ither way you go.

They arent just straight swaps though are they?

I thought there was quite a lot of modifying.

I'd be interested in the swap if it wasnt...

its pretty easy....

main thing is how the drive shaft bolts up.

At least the main difference i can see it the TT has bolts that go into it, whereas the NA uses a nut/bolt combo

The entire rear end basiclly needs to be swaped. Best is to get the entire subframe assmybly.
