RE: Any special precautions taking driver's airbag

disconnect battery and be careful no to short any thing dont drop it either a sharp fall could set it off save that for a controlled drop (its fun) the bag could explode if its hit by static electricity also .

RE: Any special precautions taking driver's airbag

The manuals indicate to wait 10 minutes after disconecting power from battery before screwing around with air bag. apparently that is how long the system holds its det. charge.

GL-- and wouldn't be me doin it. :-)
