91 maxima and z31 compatible parts

I'm looking to swap out my power steering pump and my alternator. From what I understand the alternators are compatible with a 91 Maxima. Is a power steering pump also compatible?

did you look at the link i sent you before? here they are again....

the 91 maxima used two different versions of the VG30 -the VG30E (same as the 300zx) and the VG30DE (which is not the same) so according to these parts diagrams, the pumps use the same part number on the VG30E engine, which tells me it would work on your Z. but before you jump to parts ordering, do you know for sure that your pump is bad? there can be leaks around the inlet and outlet hoses, or down in the power steering rack. don't go throwing parts at it if you don't know for sure whats wrong. my guess is you've got bad hoses and PS fluid, oils, and other grimes are getting all over your alternator. if you're loosing power steering fluid rapidly from the reservoir tank, you've got a leak down in the rack somewhere.
