Door Pin Part Number?

The previous owner had replaced the driver door, and the check is being held in by a nail. It makes a horrible click, and it's something I'd like to repair. Does anyone know what the pin that goes in there is called, or the part number for it? And more importantly, where I can find it?

I attached a link to an Ebay seller who calls the part you need "door hinge pins". The part in your photo looks like, what I call the Door Stay, because it keeps the door open. You can also remove the nail and replace it with a short lock nut & bolt.

The part code (aka lookup code) for that part would be 80410A. It's called a "PIN-SPRING", but it's just a roll pin.
Have a look at:
http://parts.nissanusa.com/nissanpar...artcode=80410A

I see that the PIN-SPRING changed for the 87+ models and are a different part number. Just another little difference between the years you would only notice in the parts fiche.

I see why he just put a nail in there... $10 for that little tiny pin from Nissan. I'm not too cheap to leave alone that awful clicking though... thanks guys!

Try a 6/32 or 8/32 x 1/2" or (3/4") nut and bolt and it shouldn't click anymore.
