FYI 280zx trim btween the door window and the quarter panel window

I remember seeing someone asking if it was possible to swap the plastic trim between the door window and the quarter panel window on a 82-83 280zx with the metal trim between the door window and the quarter panel window from a 79-81 280zx. well you can, I just did it.

Yep, me too. Definitely classes up the car with a complete chrome frame around the windows. Pretty good for $2 at the junkyard.

Look on the interior panel right on the other side of the vents, there are 2 little round plug looking things, those pop out, but be careful they might be dried out and flimsy by now. There is a nut behind each plug that holds the trim piece on. Its a breeze, just be gentle with all the ancient hardware. Happy fake chrome to you too =P. I love mine.
