I have a 72 240Z an am in the process of repainting the exterior of the car.
Car was a Project I had purchased and headlights, taillights and associated trim had already been removed from the car.
Upon reinstalling everything to check fitment and that I actually have all of the parts I found that the clips for the rear finish panel seem to be missing. I need the 4 clips that hold the tail light panels on, not the actual metal piece that is welded to the body, these clips attach to these.
I can see the witness marks from where they were attached to the part but have no Idea what they even look like. I can post a picture once I figure out how.

This shows the location these clips should attach to to hold the bottom of the finish panel.
Top gets plastic rivits

Um, there was no 1982 240Z....hopefully you mean 1972.

I'm no darn help, but you might try Zcar online sources.

You are correct sir, it is a 72.
I’ve found 2 of the clips in a box of parts but they are pretty old.
I will check with the company you listed but it seems everyone I’ve talked to tells me they are extinct!
I was hoping someone had an alternative method for securing them that didn’t require screwing through them!

go to the website 240z parts under body/exterior parts page 4,rear finisher panel bottom clips 240z
