Differential identification

Need some help.. I have 2 -R200 Diffs. One is installed.
First, the installed diff. I turned the wheel 10 times & the drive shaft turned 17.5 times.
The other uninstalled diff's ring gear reads 39 x 11, with 39 teeth. What do I have here???
2- 3.54's ??
Can these diff's be built into 3.90's? ECONOMICALLY?

Call me stupid; I don't see any relation of 3.54 to the 10 and 17.
Did you hold the opposite wheel steady while turning the other wheel 10 times? I see spider gears causing some error?

Yes, One wheel is turned while the other is held steady. According to what I read, if the wheel turns 10 times & the drive shaft turns 17.5 ( for example) , multiple 17.5 x 2 = 35, then divide 35 by 10 = 3.50 ratio.

If the driveshaft turned 19.5 times, x 2 =39 /10 =3.90. That's what I read, but am not sure myself.

Call me stupid. I can visualize the reaction of the pinion to one spider gear, with the "held-shaft" spider gear stationary. Will think it out.
Thanks for the insight.
