Yes, also check the DOT code to make sure your "new" tires are not already old, aged inventory off the shelf. This is especially true for our stock tire sizes which are no longer the more common size. Certain private label brands seem to age quicker and become rough riding sooner than national premium brands too. You might be surprised.

Tension rod bushings? If you hit a bump they can cause a vibration

Unfortunately the vibration is more or less constant and not just at bumps which is the frustrating part

I recall way back in the day I had this issue on my '83zx and was told by the dealership these cars were very sensitive to tire pressure differences (front tires) and sure enough it took care of my problem. I know it sounds silly but its cheap to check

wait what?

So basically I should confirm both front tires are at 28 even, right?

Hmm, I get vibration when driving at speed if my tire pressures are around 35. 32 not a problem.

Try chasincats' idea a play with tire pressures for short runs.

I just saw this video:

Since this has been going on at various tire pressures with 3 sets of tires and 2 sets of wheels, could warped rotors cause this shake instead?

EDIT: actually, if its a rotor issue, I would only get a shaky steering wheel while braking, correct?

Do you get vibration during braking? It is possible.

I don't, it's only at highway speed.

I jacked the car up and free spun both wheels - the driver one spins well, the passenger one is noticeably slower to free spin. Could that be an indication of anything shake-related?
