Or go OEM with a pair of SUs with upgraded needles. That's my back up plan. I have a pair of round tops to rebuild and install if I have finally had enough.
So what is the issue anyhow?

car wont idle and is running pig rich. replaced the fuel pump and filter(fp was dead), tank was drained cleaned and re-lined. checked out cleaned and adjusted the AFM(seems close/ok according to FSM tests) , checke TPS, CHTS. cleaned contacts on all the sensors. PO replaced the injectors, FPR, and 02 sensor with what looks like a universal unit (crimped) (but that doesnt matter cause i cant run it long enough to warm up to operating temp) checked and replaced obvious vacuum issues, but who knows what other vacuum gremlins are still there....

Did you check out this site?
http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/a...ion/index.html
I'd also see if you could recruit a local z club member with beverages and food to look it over.

i swapped my evil bosch EFI system for a 150$ set of used SU carbs with n36 manifold, cleaned em up, slapped em on & swapped in a 5psi fuel pump.. hands down best decision ive made with this car, zero problems and plenty of tuneability if you know how to sand down needles for your particular setup

So, hacking around today trying to get this EFI system sorted - because I have nothing else to do until I get my carb setup...I decided to replace the spark plug wires and found this. I'm sure this has nothing to do with my rough running/idle issue. On the bright side, I have pretty new blue NGK spark plug wires and clips thanks to ZCarsource.com
