Removing SU Carbs and Header How-to?

Tried dropping the transmission and it hits on the aftermarket exhaust a previous owner put on. I have one broken header bolt so I figured this would be a good time to address that. I've never removed either and was wondering if there is a write up online? Basic searches didn't reveal anything.

Any tips or tricks? Possible problems to look out for?

Besides a new gasket and header bolts anything else I should look into or address while I'm at it?

Thanks guys.

The FSM is a good place to start studying on how to do this. It's not hard or even that complicated.

I'm having a hard time finding a digital copy for a series 1. I've seen a couple links for 72+

Search, they are out there. But in all reality any of the early manuals will cover what you are doing. I have a early Z (12/70) and have used a 1973 FSM and a Haynes manual to do everything over the last 20 years.
