280zx 6 spoke tire recommendation?

Hi,

I know tires have been beaten to death, but I can't seem to find a solid/affordable recommendation for the 205x60x14 tires that come on the ZX 6-spoke wheels.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

Its hard these days, many economy cars come with 15 or 16 inch wheels now. Bit the bullet a while back and went with 17 inch wheels, more tires available and more future proof.

I swapped to 15s for a similar reason, tire availability. I couldn't find any 14in tires in stock nearby, and the few places that could even order decent tires had a month or more lead time on them. And then the price was still way more than comparable 15in tires, so I just spent the extra up front to get the wheels, so I could both save on and actually find tires in the future.

195/70R14 is the stock tire size and what I have on my oem Z wheels. There are options for those.

When I got my new tires about 3 years ago in 205/60/14 size (Falkens), I realized that the next time that option would not exist. When one had to be replaced soon after, Discount Tire was lucky to find one at a store that had an odd one in stock in Ohio. They had none in their warehouse or through a distributor.

I guess it will be time to go to 16" and move on next go around.

Do you feel the 65's side walls roll noticeably less than the 70s?
