Hello all,

two years ago i bought my wife a 1 yr old Roadster with 9k miles and she loves it.

The only problem that she has been experiencing is that both front tires lose air (one more than the other) and we figured that it was a bad valve stem or a nail but being that it only needed air once a month it wasnt a big deal until now.

You see when she went to a tire/rim specialist they removed the tire and found a crack on the inside of the rim and of course when the dealer was confronted with this all he said was that the car was just out of warantee.

I also have a friend that has the same car in an 05 and he received a card from Nissan about his rims in the mail and being that he had the 6 spoke they didnt do anything about it and of course we didnt receive the same notice being that we were the second owner or simply because we had moved, however my question is "Does anyone else remember this issue and if so did Nissan stand behind it?'

i think i remember seeing a thread recently regarding cracks in wheels.

The cracks were supposedly happining to rims that had bee sent out for chroming by dealers.
