I replaced my stock 17" wheels with 18's back in late '05. Now I notice the rear tires are damn near worn out on the inside of the tire, not the outside. Fronts are fine. Does the rear suspension have a toe-in that accounts for this, or do I have a problem?

I'd appreciate any/all thoughts. Thanks!

The 350Z has negative chamber in the rear to aid in cornering. The tires will always wear out on the inside first, its the price you pay for having a sports car.

You can get a chamber adjustment kit, and dial in zero chamber to fix the problem. But youll upset the handling of the car.

Depending on the tire, 20,000 sounds about average. I've gotten less and more on my '03. I'm halfway through my 4th set of rears with 71,000 total miles.

A soft tire can wear out in as little as 12K miles.

Just wondering... do you still have the 17" 350z rims?

No -- swapped them out for 18's.
