Questions about removing rear speaker panel.

Hi folks,

I'm getting ready to pull the rear speaker panel out of my 2007 Nismo. I know it is just a bunch of plastic plugs, but I hate to break stuff and I'm not sure where to start. Do the side interior pieces have to be removed first? I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this. I'm sure Crutchfield sends the instructions but I haven't ordered my stuff from Crutchfield yet. I would like to have the car ready (disassembled) before my components get here. I like to know just what I'm up against before I get started. Thank you very much. Below is a picture of the panel I would like to remove.

I have an 03. I removed the rear speaker panel to splice in wires to a speaker box I mounted under the cross strut in the rear. I did not remove the side panels but I remember that I really had to bend and force off the panel to the point I was afraid I would break it. Probably not the right method to use. You probably will get better instructions from another post beyond mine. The original speakers are crap. At least they were in the non bose 03's.

Take the entire section off! You need to open the hatch first, then continue...
