miss at 4000 rpm

thanks guys found the prob the thremostat had been bad for a long time , it may have caused the water temp sensor to screw up, changed it and fuel filter and plugs and now no stutter .

Thermostat causing a miss at 4K? My bet is that it was either the plugs or the filter that fixed it.

What indicator did you have that the thermostat was bad? Too high or too low temp?

Bet it was the plugs. Don't think a thermo can cause a stutter.

it was 40 below and i had 0 heat and temp gauge did not move so i new the thremostat was stuck and yes the plugs loked like crap

Now I would say that if you were running that cold for long periods of time then that could have fouled the plugs.

yeh fouled plugs is an understatment they were nasty i used NGK coldest plug seems to work great i love this car it is like driving a formula ford
