There was a very nice and large car show in Chester, NJ today. Had to be at least 250 cars - parked on main street and the side streets around town. An unbelievable variety of cars in really, really good condition -- many custom rods, vintage restores, etc. Given the quality of this show -- my Z was just average in the scheme of things!!!
Weather was outstanding, sunny dry - low 80's. Six or so members of the NJ Z Car club attended as well - on to the pictures (had some camera issues - so lost a few photos along the way)...
Our club president's 280 -- very nice, rec'd one of the 30 trophies given out (only foreign car to win anything). {previous file photo}
This picture was taken today -- my white Z is behind his
Here's my baby - had to re-shoot after getting home due to the camera issues
Spent Jan to June getting this engine bay in show condition - last year, looked like all the 95k mile Z engines -- dirty and dusty
Still have some bay work to do -- polished intake pipes, etc, but fairly sick of working on my car every free minute for the last month! Need a break for a few weeks...
This Mustang was outstanding - owner was looking to sell in the $20k range...
This one too!!!
Very unique custom blended car - this had to cost loads of $$$ to build!!!
This was really wild - total replica of the KITT car (guy won trophy for most unique). The dash and controls were fully functional! Needed a sunscreen shade to see the LEDs!
This will be a MUST DO show for next year and it was all FREE!!!
