any thoughts?

hey guys anyone have any ideas or has read any tricks to removing the valves and springs and all. I looked at the factory service manual and tried it that way just with a slightly different tool and it didnt work at all. any ideas? thanks

I used a tool from sears. wasn't exactly the right tool for the job but it got it done.
