well. its true. the Stang had the quieter interior and was more family friendly. LOL.. they should have just said the Stang was a more appropriate Grocery Getter.

The 'Stang isn't a sports car. It is a muscle car with a live real axle, as they said.

The Z is a sports car - you can take it out in the twisties.

The live axle is kind of a joke, I don't know why they stick with it. I have heard muscle car heads claim that it is better for some reason (stronger?). It's definitely less complicated and easy to lower (no camber issues), but the drawbacks are big on crappy roads. All I have to do is drive my Frontier on some washboards to know why live axles suck!! Tail is all over the place. Now for 90% of driving it really won't matter though, and it is cheap to make, maybe that's why ford sticks with it, I don't know.

You have to understand a Ford owners mind set. He doesn't care about going around corners. All he wants to do is punch it and go. So Ford Inc. says, Okay and oh BTW thanks for saving us a lot of money. Now here is your live axle that won't break, have fun. They (Ford and Ford lovers) deserve each other.

what's funny is the 370Z took away the only advantage the Mustang GT had over the 350z... faster in a straight line.

You guys are going to hate me. But I by all means hate Ford products with a passion. The new Mustangs are going to rock when they come out with the new 5.0L. I was reading and they are going to make some serious power, going to be fairly light. The axle may still be a problem, because they are sticking with the solid rear axle, but it is supposed to handle ~0.91G's I believe along with making 400+ ponies and still getting ok V8 gas mileage. Rrrr.... stupid fords.

Maybe nissan will laugh at them one day and make a Nissan 5**z Twin turbo V8 sports car that gets 30mpg and makes 700hp.

You can't say ford wasn't mad about 4.6L V8 = 320~hp
Nissan 3.7L V6 = 335~hp
Lol ha ha ha. Nissan please please please make a performance V8 and show these muscle car fools.

nismofan1...no hate on Mustang-lovers... I just like to enjoy the roads that were made for sports cars. They truly are two different vehicles...
