but the 370 would get to 155 fast enough for a large lead. It would take the 350 about 7 miles to catch up (just throwing a random number out there)

To be fair Nissan is really really taboo in the UK, I'm not entirely sure why, but they seem to view Nissans in a similar light to which we would view Hyundai.


So that's what stems the bias, but I'm not sure where it originated. Poor product support is what I gather, but it's mostly speculation.

Interestingly enough, when Jeremy Clarkson compared the Audi TT and the 350Z, he exclaimed his disappointment in the TT and said the 350Z was what the TT "Could've been" if Audi hadn't screwed it up...

I think the only serious complaint I've seen about the Nissan's on Top Gear is with the Micra's.

The 350Z Roadster also did well in their Norwegian roadster comparison.

The "other" Top Gear-style program on the BBC "Fifth Gear", however takes a different view. They liked the 350 and love the 370.
