If your fuel pump doesnt work then thats your problem man? I dont understand what you are saying about the ecu and fuel pump if those things aren't working then those are your problems

Somewhere in Kyle's mash of words there is a mention of battery charging and the ECU not showing lights. Gosh, there's a coincidence.

If the ECU does not light up then there will be no spark, injection, or fuel pump running whether those parts are getting power or not. The ECU tells them when to operate.

Fuses and fusible links are claimed to be ok. Hmmm.
Figure out why the ECU does not light up then worry about the other bits.

sounds like a possible flooding. listening to tunes; you may have had your ignition in the run position and gas leaked through injectors. clamp the fuel hose between the fuel pump and the intake to shut off fuel and crank engine. once it fires release the fuel and start engine.

just a possibility.

hey kyle

ill be in roswell this coming up weekend, and if my alternator gets here, me and probly the rest of street speed will be at the track for test and tune.

as for your problems

you say it cranks but no start

fuel pump doesnt work and the on board doesnt work

are you sure your pump isnt working, as in youve pulled the fuel hose before the fuel filter and it didnt squirt any gas, or your not hearing the pump ingage?

at first thought i was going to say your battery is just dead, that would mean no fuel pump and no on board, but you say it cranks.

check your fusible links under the hood, all fuses, and tighten up all vacuum hoses/fuel hoses that you can.

now worse case scenerio, if your ecu is in fact dead, your in luck cause i have a complete 85 z in roswell that i will either sell off for parts or the whole car-ill sell the car for in my eyes cheap, but too some its too much of a hassle.

oh and did you happen to get the ecu wet anyhow?

as in im gathering you were maybe at a car wash cleaning it out, and maybe just maybe you washed it just prior to that- i dont know just a thought.

hope that helps, please post your results on what you find, cause if you cant get it going, i might be able to run down there and lend a hand.
