My brake lights stay on even after the car is off, what could be a possible solution?

weird ground or the switch by the brake pedal that operates the brake lights are stuck in the on position

Ya figured it out, the brake pedal wasn't coming far enough back to push the switch in. Did a temporary fix for now. Thanks

Brake pedal height should never change, you need to investigate what has gone wrong.

I was missing the rubber stopper up there that pushes the switch in to let the brake lights know to go out, so i put a rubber pad up there.
