My 88's security light is blinking, while the car is off all the time. Just wondering if thats normal or what?

My fix for that problem = disconnecting the pin switch <_< It works haha

is the security light supposed to stop flashing and turn off or stay on, as in no security light when system is armed or solid security light when system is armed? Also, if the pin switch works enough that all the interior lights to go off when the door is closed, why wouldn't it arm the security system?

Please read the owners manual for security system information. The FSM has detailed information as well.
