no .....the cars were never numbered if your talking like the older (zx10th) 10 anniversary cars had a numbered plaque on the center console. the shiro is best detected by the registery listed above and never had any number on the center console like its predecessor.
the only difference is the canadian model which had a maple leaf on the center console by the shifter.

I thought the Canadian ones also had a numbered plaque? I know a lot of Shiro owners on other boards have their cars number (ie. Shiro #435) posted on their signature pic.

I too thought that canadian shiro's had a numbered plaque?

Read the third paragraph... AZ-ZBum.

I got the number from the SS registry. #981.

^^^I figured you would know better than me. I have been going off of Z-Bum's site for this information.

I have never seen or heard of any canadian shiro for sale or a part of the forums though.

Check the VIN.

How do you tell for sure? Open the hood and read the model plate that is located on the driver's strut tower. All SS models have the trim designation of "SS" encoded in the model information. The SS models all will read:
KHLZ31ST(N/U/V)C

K = T-Tops
H = VG30E motor
L = left hand drive
Z31 = model designation
S = Trim level type "SS"
T = Turbo
Emissions
N = Canadian
U = Federal (the other 49 states)
V = California
C = Manual Climate control
