Wow. I was a bit shocked at what was under the hood for it's condition. It doesn't look like your average V8 conversion. It doesn't look to be very bad at all!
What are your plans for it? Are you going to stick with the small block chevy v8 or go with another power plant?
A friend of mine used to have a 260 with a chrysler 340 in it. I have yet to see a conversion done with a VK45DD Nissan all aluminum DOHC veriable valve V8. That I would love to see done tastefully. Those engines have titanium valves and direct injection.
Very cool birthday present! Do your kids still have to pee? I hope not. haha...
I'd rock that bumper sticker for a while before completely restoring the car.
Actually i am going to keep the small block. dont have enough fungds to do another conversion on it. But I'm sure there's quite a few to be done considering the car has been sitting for 7 years. Hve no kids but i'll keep the sticker as long as i can keep it there, haha.
Wow is right! I was totally stunned to see it had a small block conversion in it. really cool car especially being a free b-day present. good luck with it and take care of it.
nice bumper sticker.
