January 2009 Z Car of the Month: My 88 rb25det z31.
Posted by: racinjitter

Well I went out for a mini photo shoot this weekend, basically to scout some nice areas for the "real" photo shoot. Suggestions and critique is encouraged. Let me know which photos/locations you like or dislike and why.

I don't want to post up all of the pics, so here is a link and some of the photos that I like. RB-Z photo shoot If it asks you for a password, try rb30psi.

The link worked for me. Really liked the photos in front of the boarded up commercial property.

Cool, I am leaning towards that location and a few others that I scouted today.

Thank you! Next weekend I will take a bunch of pictures of other Michigan Z's. Some of them put mine to shame... Well actually most of them. :D

These wheels are 18x9.5 et +15 with 275/35R18's all the way around. My last set was 18x9 et-1.4 245/45R18 up front and 18x10 et+22 275/35R18 in the rear.

Yea, I can post up a few... In the car or out of the car? LOL!
These are very old pics. The battery is no longer in the engine bay and most of the wiring is not in a spaghetti mess.

**Edit**

I figured that I should add the most recent picture of my car, since it has changed in the past week.

New stuff... Well not exactly, I have had the TBO lip for almost a year now. I finally installed it and repainted the side skirts.

Have you ever considered shooting it from the drivers side? all the pictures of cars i see over 80% of them are of the drivers side.

Sure, I have a few pictures of the drivers side. I don't really like taking pictures of the drivers side due to the gap between the CF hood and the fender though.

Go through a lot a rear tires there Jason? I can't believe you didn't post an engine shot until somebody asked ;) Those wheels look terrible on a black car. Prolly look just fine on a pearl white car though.

Hehehe, tires are wearable items. And it is fun wearing them out! As soon as I get back home in the next few weeks, I will take some updated shots of the engine bay.

LOL, no bronze for the black car huh? They did look like hott fire on the SS when I was test fitting them. Alas, I have some very good ideas for the SS and this car as for wheels. I am sure you have seen the thread on Z31p about dream wheels. Right now I am working on the s13 rear subframe swap and coil over setup for the balck car. Maximum slammage should roll out of the garage by the end of winter.
