By a stroke of luck this 79 Datsun 280ZX dropped in my lap. But I am excited to have found this!

As you can see it needs body work. Any good places to go for fiberglass? Body kit, fenders, doors, hood. Basicly anything, I want to get some prices so I can save for spring. I am ashamed to say that I am going to make this car show before go. LOL

I also need a clutch. Anyone know a good one to get? I definately plan to drag and drift this car. That is why I got it.

As far as the engine I just want to do an intake and headers and full exhaust for now. Again, anyone know of some good places to get these? I am itching to really work the engine over. But I am going to research some boosting options before I do anything.

It's got potential, i really hope that wasn't a factory color...any rust issues, it looks pretty straight...good luck

WOW!!!! that was a very very rare color in 79. It was called citrus green. I had one and wish I never got rid of it. It is rarer than the 79 ZXR

Nothing to laugh at. The cars are 3 decades old. It's how it looks and drives when your finished that counts. Remember, not everybody has the $ or the time, or the desire to create a Z car of the month. Looks like you have a special car there with the color. I hope that when you paint it you try and stay with the original paint code.
