I'm just cross-posting information for this local event. Those of you who came out for our NWN Golden Gardens meet in March will probably remember that it's always a great time with our group! It'd be great to see some Z guys show out for the northwest!

NWN meets have seen dramatic increases in participation by members and guests alike. The vast majority of participants realize that this is a municipal park open to the public and respectfully behave accordingly.

However, along with the increase in overall participation we've seen a growing segment of immature, annoying, and irresponsible behaviors that could threaten the continued growth and existence of such events.

A list of prohibited acts of ignorance shouldn't be necessary; just realize that there will be families with children @ the park; many who like to checkout the rides, and some who don't appreciate our taking over of 'their' park.

By request of park officials, the location of the meet has been switched from Lot K to Lot B. This change has already been reflected on the posted map and in the event info. Apparently, park management was not pleased with the haphazard parking habits of the participants of the recent Honda-Tech meet held there (haha, are you surprised?), so I'd like to encourage everyone to try and keep things as orderly as possible. Myself and other volunteers will help facilitate parking.
Also: In my conversation with the King County employee, she did mention that they will have staff in some of the parking lots that, so I'd plan on paying the $1.00 fee.

For some reason, I'm not able to edit the first post. Be forewarned that the meet time is 10:00am, with the BBQ pushed back to noon.

We officially have well over 100 confirmed guests, with many possible unconfirmed roll and ride-along attendees. This is shaping up to be quite the meet!

Our forum has also put together a quick flyer that can be handed out to others, but is mostly for helping people find the event and to provide information to observers. How many times have you gone to a big meet only to wonder who owns the car you're looking at? Problem solved!

The whole NW really came together on this one. It was amazing to finally be able to put some faces to some names and meet all of the awesome people who rarely pop up in the area!

To our multi-forum folks, big thanks for showing out and making this such a huge success. I'm looking forward to seeing more makes and models in the future, as well as meeting more of you guys. If I didn't have the opportunity to introduce myself, I apologize! (that goes for you NWN guys, too) I tried to make my rounds, but with so many people coming and going, you guys sure didn't make it easy :D.

To you guys who made the long trip and spent less time at the park than it took you to come up/down one way, I hope it ended up being worth the trip. You guys are the ballers who make these events bigger than us all. I'm definitely looking forward to kicking it again in the future!
