Brake parts & G-nose
Posted by: DMS
Date: February 04, 01:07PM

Hey guys,

1.
I have a set of rear wheel cylinders. They are NEW Nissan parts. R&L. I also have the corresponding backing plates. They are powder coated black.
I do not have the brake hardware kit or the shoes.
Will ship if shipping costs are covered. Taking offers. Need cash but would like to keep this stuff, So dont bother low balling me I will not respond.

2.
I have 2 sets of calipers for a series 1 and the other for 240Z, 260Z, or 280Z Datsun. The Series 1 set has all the hardware. They have pads and work, but they have unknown mileage on them. $100obo for this set. The second set has around 1000 miles or less on the the pads (Semi metallics). $100obo. Both these sets came off working cars.

3.
I have an aftermarket 5 piece G-nose.
It was briefly mounted to a car. A tire caught the side of it and made a 3" crack that was repaired. Other than that its in good shape. It does fit unlike most of these that get warped. The downside is that it doesnt have mounting hardware. It doesnt require very much harware to mount it though. You can almost use all the stock fasteners to do it. The Gnose has a set of the OE Gnose hood hinges with it.

Im not set on selling this thing. Im offering it up to try and make some of my cash back. This Gnose is one of the $900 aftermarket kits with the $200 hinges. The kit itself was purchased for around $750 through Yahoo Auctions.

I WILL NOT PART IT OUT. ALL or NOTHING. Im not going to ship it. Its Fiberglass, Its large. It will either cost to much or get damaged... and I dont need to look bad. Local Pickup

The deal: Make it worth my time not to keep it. I have a 75 Fairlady Id like to put it on.

4.
Stock Nissan E12-80 Distributor unit. Stand alone ignition unit-coming off running car $55

5.
I have a set of OE 510 rotor hubs with rotors in good shape newish pads, and the front brake calipers $60

6.
NPR Intercooler Approximately 30" wide (including endtanks) x 14.5"x 2 .25" with 2.75" ports. Welded endtanks. $150 firm

7.
Ive got a LD28 intake manifold from a Nissan Laurel. It came from a LD28t non-egr engine. Im asking $150obo for it

8.
L20A 6 cylinder 2L engine. It came in a lot of cars from Japan. It was never available in the US domestic market. Has std domed pistons and turns over. Needs to be honed out checked for piston wall clearance and install some new rings. It is a complete bottom end. This L20A came out of a Fairlady rear sump oil pan. It turns easily by hand at the crank pulley.Possibly available as well is the E30 cylinder head from this motor. No cam(has some surface rust). Depending on offer it can be available. will not sell seperately. Looking for offers ~$300 obo I would like to trade complete for a Y44 or Y40 in similar shape. I have a '75 Fairlady that will need a motor.

9.
I have a manifold for a RB25DET. I paid over $200 to have a machine shop put this together. It uses the stock throttle body. I spent $200 on it so Id thought I would try to recoup my cash back rather than recycle this. Hopefully someone needs it. Locates the TB in a better spot for anyone installing an RB25 into a S30, S130, Z31, S13, or S14 Nissan Platforms. (Z or SX cars)Ive got about $230 into this manifold and I would like to get at least the machine work costs back out of it. If your thinking about having this done to yours then you can save yourself the time and a little extra cash by buying this one. $175.00 firm I have a Throttle body with the S2 tps on it for $50 as well. Will sell these to together for $200.

10.
I have a bunch of 240z gauges and a fuse box for a 72 that isnt melted up but the cover is from another and has a melted spot.
zero'd odometer gauge - $45
Fuse box with cover - $50

no more temperature gauges or clocks. Other gauges not listed still available

11.
I have a 70-71 Datsun 240Z. Fiberglass. Has elongating holes from an arm rest hinge. Im asking $50obo. Automatic shifter plate intact! Sorry the Fuse/Ash tray area piece is missing and the other is broken. I need one myself and would trade for a good one. $50?

12.
I have several sets of Datsun SU carbs
240Z early 4 screw tops
Some of these sets have been clean, and some are in peices. None of these carbs are ready to just throw onto a car and run. They will need gone through. They have been sitting in a box for 3-6 years depending on when I picked them up. best offer

YOu have a gnose 5 piece kit, that was mounted on a car but you don't have the hardware to install it, you installed it with just stock mounting brackets. Huh, got any pictures of that?

Does the front bumper have the built in mounting tabs?

Post pics?

Thanks,

David

It was mounted with some janky homemade brackets. Buyers are welcome to have the homemade brackets, but honestly I wasnt going to use them and I doubt a buyer would want to use them. No offence to the builder of the brackets, Im sure he was going to make some nicer ones and was just using them to fit the nose to the car. The bumper brackets? The bumper has brackets that attach it to the upper nose peice. The bumper is fiberglass, unlike the real gnose that is a rubber metal composite part.

I didnt get he PM btw?

Im out of town. I will try adn get pictures of the Gnose up later this week when I get home.

Washed the dust off the gnose parts. They were still a bit wet when I took these pictures so they look shiny when they are really a dull primer.

I have highlighted the cracked areas. While fitted we turned the oversized tires and it hit the bottom lip as we turned to roll down the driveway. The car had the gnose style wide flares and large tires. The bottom crack was repaired on the inside. The other crack hasnt been messed with yet.

You can see the 2 home - made backets in the picture that mounted the bottom to the car.

13.
510 Wagon/Sedan doors. No rust issues on any of the doors. The front doors have bondo and dents, but nothing to bad. $100 ea. The rear doors I have are in very god shape. $150 ea.

14.
I have several 521 pickups. Only one of them rolls. Selling them as a lot.

-1972 pickup which has been a parts truck. No axles, glass, interior, engine, trans, or drive shaft. front of the cab has been hit on the passenger side. The hood is bent up. No doors. both fenders are straight.
-1971 pickup Has no engine or transmission either. Has a straight dent free bed. Has helper springs and a large rear sway bar. The cab is rusted out completely. It has a a set of straight fenders. There is a little rust in the bottom of the driver door. no hood. Good door panels.
-1971 parts cab. It has a rust free floor. The front clip has been cut off. The fenders, hood and doors are all there and in very good shape.
-1971 cab. I bought it thinking it was rust free, It has plates, current non-op. pink, and the vins. The driver side floor has some rust. There is a plate of metal over the top hiding it.
-Only 1 good front and rear window. The doors all have windows though.
-There are also several sets of grills and head light bezels.

Lots of straight fenders, doors, 1 good hood, 1 straight bed, 2 good tail gates, enough cabs to make one good one, paper work for all the cabs, 2 straight frames, 1 good complete suspension system, etc. Good set of windows (no gaskets for front and rear). In parts alone over $550 easy. Buy everything $550. Unless your going to make it worth my time to start parting stuff out, dont bother asking about parting, the answer is no. If I start parting it out and only sell a few things Im left with trying to replace the sold parts. Needless to say I am selling this stuff cheap and trying to replace a few parts will cost me a ton more than Im selling this stuff for. If it doesnt sell Ill continue rebuilding one. Right now I am in need of the cash.

15.
A friend of mine is starting to clear out a good portion of his collection as well. 510, Roadster (all 311), and Z(S30). Cars and parts for sale. He is a busy guy between work and home and it may take some time to respond back to any inquiries. Email him with what you are looking for and give him a price range. I have pictures of most his cars. He isnt in a rush to off his collection, and as I said it can take some time for a response. If you hear nothing by week two maybe send another email. He has lots of stuff as well as rare parts.
