Console Hazard Switch and Light

I'm trying to get my console hazard light to come on. I've replaced the 1.4w light with a new one, tried one that I know works, but the light does not come on. The hazard lights work with the switch and I'm getting voltage to the light however, the voltage is small around .9 volts. Does this light suppose to remain solid when the hazard switch is turned on? Or is suppose to blink in conjunction with the hazard lights?

My head/brake/hazards/reverse all work, hell my dash Tail and parking lights even come on when I activate my alarm, but they won't com on when i use the combo switch...on the Threads no one seems 2 had this exact same problem...i drive a 1971 240z

.9 volts is not enough voltage for MOST light bulbs on any car. "Dirty or loose connection." Norm K

bad ground/connection. I would cean and tighten all connections before tearing stuff apart.

Just to answer one of the op questions, the hazard switch is illuminated when the dash lights are on & does not flash with the hazard lights - stays on solid.

Blue 83zxt coupe .. Eibachs , Tokicos , GReddy stuff, B&M sts, Magnaflow
