1979 280zx cold start injector leaking fuel.car was running fine before the leak.replaced injector tried starting the car and it would not start.took the distributor out and notice magnet assembly was broken.replaced with new distributor.cranked the engine would not start.could not hear the fuel pump comming on with key in the start position.checked relays 1&2 for continuity and they checked out fine.replaced distributor cap,rotor, and spark plugsand wires.i am getting spark to the plugs.i don't know what else to check.

There's also an EFI relay hidden behind a plate next to the battery.

Warning: disconnect the battery cables before trying to unscrew the plate. Don't ask why I know...

Sounds like you went from too much fuel to not enough. You could also hook up a "noid-light" to each injector connector to verify pulses to the injectors. Norm

At this point, I would suggest pulling out the Nissan FSM (free download or paper version) and just start going through the EFI tests at the ECU connectors, using a digital volt-ohm meter. It sounds to me is if you somehow disconnected something. It might be close to the distributor or the coil. I think there is a wire from the coil that goes to the tachometer to show RPMs, and to the ECU. Getting down to the basics is indicated. It could be a wire that merely got bumped, but looks ok to a casual glance. It might not even be directly related to the distributor system.
