How much do you want to spend? I've seen blowers and juice on pretty much any engine imaginable, so a good one won't be a problem, as long as you spend the cash to beef it up enough.

This guy is running a supercharger on his 280z.

Both are doable but swapping in a turbo motor from a zx and beefing that up would be loads easier and cheaper.

You can do anything if you have the money and know how. If you are asking if you can do it, then you don't know how. I hope you have lots of money.

if you have the money for it, sure. so long as you have supporting mods to make sure you don't blow your engine up. if you're going to do this, make sure you upgrade your internals to handle the added power. however, I agree with 77-280z in saying that a built L28ET would be the better and easier route, and probably cheaper in the long run. Or a VG30DETT if you have the engineering skills, or know of a really good shop. But, it's your car, do what you want. The possibilites are endless with these cars.
