can you use any year air flow meter on a 78 besides that year? my car soaks the spark plugs with gas after i finish driving it. i've already changed the regulator and temp sensor.same problem

Try adjusting the AFM ? How does it drive ?

It's NOT the AFM. Save your $$.

You should check the fuel pressure and run a pin connector test at the ecu instead of just throwing parts at it. At least for testing purposes you can use any afm from 75-78 on a 78. If your fuel pressure tests ok, and it passes the pin connector test, then it could be your ecu.

you can use any airflow meter except turbo from 75-83. If you use one from 79-83 you must put a jumper wire in the first two terminals in the left side of the plug as it's facing you in the installed position

car runs fine after a day sitting down and then same thing happan plugs soaked in gas.i've changed ecu,i'll check connector pins and see what happens after that.
