rear bumper damaged

I was so stupid to scratch side of rear bumper while backing up the other night. I thought my tail light was completely destroyed when I heard cracking noise. Luckily concrete pole was low enough to just scratch side of rear bumper. I didn't push gas while doing it but it's got little deeper scratch than I thought. You guys think I can remove this with scratch remover or do I need a new paint job?
Clean up lower that rock guard area to better judge the damage. My favorite for something like this is Meguiar's Fine Cut Cleaner (similar has happened more than a few times on the cars driven by the younger drivers in my household)...
Pretty sure you'll need some painting too. Good news is that white cars are easy to color match. The rock guard area is pretty forgiving with touch up paint too!
The smooth upper area (under side marker) will need to be sanded a little bit to clean up those scratches. You can try doing some touch-up there too and then wet sanding to blend -- but a full repainting would give the best finish.
Really depends on how fussy you are about this and whether or not you're in a hurry to visit an autobody shop?
I'm kind of fussy about it but I don't have money for new paint job right now so I guess I'll try to do some touch up paint or just ride it until for new paint. Thanks guys.
Take your time - prep and working carefully makes a big difference...
FYI: Experiment with a few shades of white - can really vary a lot (due to age & fade) in comparison to the Nissan paint code color.
Get spray paint and clear coat/touch up paint from PaintScratch.com and do it yourself...

Looks like it will need new paint.
