Happy 4th of July!
I spent an hour this morning driving around in my zx. It was a nice quiet time for me. I needed it. The car ran great and I even managed to have a little fun here and there ;) .Since I replaced the fuel pump it starts instantly with a turn of the key, hot or cold! Everything is working good on the car right now. The ac blows nice and cold and the car is a lot of fun to drive. It's not too pretty but fun. It needs some body work and the dark brown color changed to something I will like.
So i'm having a very good 4th and today is a good day for my wife , who just had 4 bad days in a row. She's playing with my 16 yr. old son's PS3 (he's in colorado springs visiting friends for a couple weeks) in the living room. It's good to see her doing something. The nausea and headaches kicked her butt this time around. Three chemos in 27 days.
So here's wishing all of you guys a very HAPPY and SAFE 4th of July!!!
And THANK YOU each and everyone for your support and encouragement. I can't begin to tell you how much it has meant to us and helped me personally. I kept the PM's and go back and reread them when i'm feeling overwhelmed. They make me feel better.
a happy yankee doodle dandy to all our fellow members down south.

I, too had some nice drive time in my '86 ZX, with the T-tops out, of course. It has been raining here for about 30 days. Today has been the first real break from it for a while. Not too hot, not too cold.
Good to hear that your wife was having a good day today as well. Here's to many more good days.
100 + degree days for two weeks and too dry to shoot fireworks - I'm spending
the 4th counting cracks in my eyelids at work - but it's O.T. and the Z's are
getting more work done on them.
Great you had a good 4th. Will keep the prayers going! I'm wondering where you bought the fuel pump for your car. I may need one soon and hear bad things about the aftermarkets. Hope you can get the wife out for a ride today.
Drove my '88 turbo for a few hours. Turbo quit boosting, front shocks died a slow death, and power steering fluid all leaked out. Lot of work to do, but still beats driving a butt ugly econo-box. Unless the computer also died, it said the entire drive averaged 30.1 mpg!
Sorry to miss festivities...
Busy watchuing 7 SCUD salute easter waters off Korea, yes?
