1980, 2+2, 280 ZX
Hi guys
Want to show off my 1980 ZX, 2+2, non turbo.
When I got my hands on it, it hadn’t driven for 7 years.
So I’ve been through all the usual problems with the EFI system, unthight rubber bushing, leaking and not working brakes and a lot more....
Thanks to the assistence from you guys it now spins and drives like a dream.
I have tried to keep it as originally as possible.
Replacement's until now:
All calipers and brake lines.
Full 2½" flow trough exhaust system (no catalysator in this version).
Carpet and upholstery.
Fuel pump and rubber hoses.
Not many Datsun Z/ZX is left in Denmark, 20-25, most of them have rusted away years ago - we use a lot of roadsalt in the winterperiod!.
This car is originally sold in Denmark. Most others are imported from Germany and US.
I've got some rust in the trunk that I will have to take care of somehow/sometime..
I believe I’m the 3th owner but who knows...
140.000km and easily 190km/h. (Didnt dare to go higher..)

Very nice car. Are you still working on the dash or do you prefer the mat?
Still looking for a newer dash without cracks.
The mat dosnt look fantastic but its actually perfect to place the mobile and other loose stuff on....
Man, that is super clean. I think that's the first blue interior I've seen that looks nice. :)
