In my 1985 2+2 GLL Turbo, there is a golden-coloured box behind the spare wheel, toward the front of the wheel. The box has two dials in the middle; and two switches. The switches are labeled E and N, and both are 3 way with a + and - at either side.
What the heck does this thing do? I dont want to mess with it unless I know for sure.

E means EAST.
N means NORTH.

Zbum, I work with the public basically and ask them direction based questions, lets just say most people think their left is east and is always there east. Lets just say everyone is an idiot including myself.
