Seeking Zs - modded, beater, stock etc.
We're putting over 500 cars and trucks on the cover (front and back) of our Fall 2008 issue to celebrate 50 years of Nissan in the US, and we need more Z. ANY Nissan, Infiniti or Datsun sold in the US is eligible (stock, modified, beater, doesn't matter.) To enter, just post in this thread with the following information: 1-3 jpgs pictures, year and model of your vehicle, along with your full name, city and state of residence. The editors of Nissan Sport will then look over all of the entries and choose among them. ZCar.com will have a minimum of 10 cover spots guaranteed. Post the necessary information before Friday, August 29 to be eligible.
To see the new cover in draft format (many vehicles have been submitted so far, over 400 slots are still open), check out www.nissansportmag.com. We will be updating the cover on a regular basis as we receive more entries.
They should be together, but they don't necessarily have to run!
are you doing a collage or is it a shoot?
It's a collage, front and back covers. Since it's Nissan USA's 50th Anniversary we're aiming to get as many US sold Nissans as possible.

Sounds like a great idea and looking forward to seeing that issue.
Just a reminder that there are lots of Z pics over in the members rides section of most of the regulars here on the forum.
Might want to browse thru them for some ideas.
Most of us have emails in case you need to reach us for more info or additional pics.

For this particular cover, it is limited to United States vehicles - since we're celebrating 50 years of Nissan in the United States. While all of our other contests are international, this is for those folks in the US.

What if the car was originally sold in the U.S., but defected to Canada?
Defected? Defected?! I'm not quite sure how to take that! LOL!
Better than defecated.
What if--what if--what if it were owned by a Martian, but drove to America once?
Lol...seriously though. I live in SoCal, so it isn't an issue for me, but for the folks that live in Canada who own a USDM Z, wouldn't it make sense? If it wasn't for the U.S. southwest, most folks wouldn't have Z anyway considering the condition of most older east coast and midwest Zs that haven't been restored.
Just trying to look out for our neighbors to the north...
I know. It just struck me as really funny, the choice of wording. Pirated (a-la style of Blue last year) or pillaged, migrated, etc... but defected just struck me as really funny.
How about changing the title then to "50 Years of Nissan in North America".
Has Nissan Canada been around the same length of time as Nissan USA? Or Nissan Mexico? We're all North American. It'd have to be "50 years of Nissan in the USA." They can't really say in America because the Americas (north and south) have multi-country make-ups.
Hey John, don't start trouble. lol

Just an FYI guys, if you are going to take pictures and send them to us, take them the same way that the cars in this post have been done. I want them to be in landscape view which is horizontal. This format works best when I crop the images later on. Also send 2 to 3 versions so I have something to choose from. And don't forget that they need to be at a pretty good resolution. 4mp or larger camera should work fine. Thanks.
I have larger images of these as well.
