Early 74 260z for sale - San Diego area
I love my Z, but life intervenes and sometimes you gotta make choices. I've decided an S30 might not be the best option for me this minute so I'm looking at selling it.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm not in immediate need to sell it unless I get the right offer.
It's an early 74 260z with an L24 and four speed:
-3 screw early SU carbs, K&N air cleaner
-E31 head, P30 block
-L26 N36 intake manifold and 260z electronic ignition distributor with ignition module in the footwell
-fresh valve adjustment, and so to be Sea Foam treatment and carb tune up to match the valves
The body is very straight, with an early (small) 240z front bumper. Fiberglass front air dam (looks similar to basic MSA style) modified for a license plate mounting surface, very well done and it looks professional for sure.
The rear bumper has been shaved quite expertly, one of only a few I have seen even on the internet and the like, gets many compliments.
It also has a (presumed) dealer-installed moonroof that works very well, only leaks a little in heavy rain.
The A/C compressor was removed, but the blower under the dash works fine. Between that and the bumpers the car might be almost 100lbs light than stock (dry).
Has a small amount of rust in the usual spots, but nothing major at all and certainly very treatable, no cancer that I can see.
I'm asking $3500, a little room to work with but no low balling please. I will also include lots of extra I have to go with the car, including a recently rebuilt 5 speed and lots of other little bits.
PM me if you're interested, I can send tons of additional pictures of pretty much wherever you want to see on the car, or if you are in the area you can come take a look, although I will be out of town until next week.
