If you have $2k mod budget

OK, if you have a $2k mod budget, what would you buy? So far I'm looking at the Topspeed Pro 1 exhaust (or the X02), 5/16 Plenum spacer.... Thats about as far as I've got, so far. Headers? NOS? Different intake?

I'm looking for a deeper sound coming from the exhaust and added hp.

Re: If you have $2k mod budget

for 2k you could probably get the exhaust, intake, and spacer. i'm not sure you'd have any money left after that. it's not going to add much horsepower, but it will give you a different sound.

Re: If you have $2k mod budget

well it's actually very funny you bring this up because that's exactly what i just spent on my z33 for the spring! but here's what i got: hks truedual ti exhaust, 1/2" motordyne iso/copper plenum spacer, stillen front strutbar, and tein s-tech springs. all that brought me to about $1850 and it was all new stuff, nothing off ebay or anything. but with the other $150 i got some cf inlays for the 4 z symbols on the z33 and then got cf b-pillars and cf mirror brackets of ebay. if you'd like any of the vendors names just let me know.

just a heads up. i've gotten reviews on this site and also my350z and both have had very bad thoughts about the x02 but you really can't complain about the $ neither, just a heads up though. good luck!

First of all, what are your goals -- performance (go) or bling (show)?

Re: If you have $2k mod budget

My goals are for a deeper sound. Kinda like what the XO2 and Topspeed Pro 1 gives. If I get 20 extra hp out of $2k worth of mods, that would be great!

Riot act: Why did the XO2 get bad reviews? Is it because its a knock-off of the HKS? That wouldn't bother me, I love the sound. Right now I'm leaning towards the Topspeed Pro 1. AWESOME sound!

Re: If you have $2k mod budget

people say the x02 has very bad drone at cruising speeds which would personally drive me nuts!

i've never heard the topspeed pro1 though. do you have any sound clips on that?
