great contribution to the conversation O.o Just saying false isn't helpful. You took the time to reply so why not take the extra 10 seconds and explain what is false? Or how it's false....

Oops, I was on the first page. The False was in answer to your belief that you could only read the codes if the CE light is on.

( as I stated )

AND... depending on your code scanner ( or laptop S/W like ECU talk ) you could watch and see if something was marginal...

Just a thought

Hey, I had a similar problem after someone hit me in a parking lot. This is what I found out! Behind your left front fender ( drivers side ) there are two relays 1 double and 1 single ( found at any parts store for really cheap! ) Once I replaced those relays ( starter and security ) the car started right up! Give it a try and let me know what happens.

Solara,

Those relays control the cranking of the car, which he can do..
there is either no spark or no fuel or the timing is WAY OFF ( or a code off a failed , marginal part )..

You have to be systematic about trouble shooting these cars, or you will just be a tube jockey ( whoops I just dated my self ) ..

Definately don't need to be a tube jockey!! Was a DVOM used to check the voltage at the ignition module, I do beileve that could prevent the car from starting. The module is found behind the radiator hoses. Thanks Mike for the save on the last post, the video sounds a crank issue.

Hey guys thanks for the help so far. I will go look into reading the codes. As long as I don't need a scan tool that is. I was hoping to read the idiot light method.

I also don't think its that fuel regulator. If I got time this weekend I'll trouble shot some more.
You guys will be updated.

And to the dude telling me to search to fix this car you're wrong. This thread is not about me fixing out its about the forum doing this together. But as I said I will more go into reading the codes.

Some people would suggest that a fair amount of noob's come in here with a problem, the person with the problem is either unable ( due to lack of experience ) or unwilling to do the research work, then come back with attitude that there " problem " isn't resolved.

Your suggestion of " Hey Gang let's all fix this MY car ( read problem ) " is hitting fairly close to home..

That's why you might get attitude, in some responces.
