I believe that is the pressure regulator which has one tube hooked to a vacuum line. So it would be blocked so the vacuum moves a diaphragm vs. spring loading on the fuel side to adjust the pressure as the fuel passes thru.

That's a good point, it certainly wouldn't hurt to run the codes and see what you get.

Codes should ALWAYS be run first. It will tell you your starting point on testing.

Some codes will not trip the check engine light... you can read the codes anytime... if there are no codes you get a 55.

Sorry. but this is one of the most pathetic threads I have read in quite some time.

You are clearly computer savy, spend some time reading the FAQ link on this page.
As stated, run the codes first and report back what you find.
As stated, don't pump the gas pedal on a Fuel injected engine when attempting to start.

You should also check your injectors (with the fuel pressure regulator installed) mark your CAS with millimeter accuracy. Turn on the ignition but dont start the car. pull the CAS off and check the internal shaft for play. make sure you leave the CAS connector plugged in. if everything is ok, spin the shaft a bit. do you hear injectors tick and fuel spray? that means all is good. reinstall the CAS and make sure it lines up to your marks perfectly.

still doesnt start?

adjust your idle screw out a couple of turns. try to start it again. (once you do get the car started, you'll have to re-adjust the idle. Look in the faqs)

still won't start?

You need to check your ECU, PTU and MAF. one of those is FUBAR
